What might your future look like if you could imagine it on your own terms?
This month at Activate Queer Teen Club, we’re getting creative with a Scrapbooking & Future Visualising Workshop. 💭📚
📅 Sunday, 13 September 2026
⏰ 14:00–17:00
📍 Villa Vida Café, Linke Wienzeile 102, 1060 Vienna
🌈 For queer & questioning young people aged 14–19
💸 Free – all materials provided
Together, we’ll use scrapbooking, images, words, colours and whatever else inspires us to explore our dreams, identities, interests and possible futures.
There’s no right way to participate and absolutely no need to be “good at art.” Make a whole vision board, create a couple of pages, chat, experiment, or simply hang out with other queer young people. You also never have to share or explain what you create.
💜 Come however feels comfortable. You’re very welcome to come on your own or with friends. Lots of people come to community events without knowing anyone, so arriving solo is completely normal. If you’d rather come with someone you know, that’s equally welcome — as long as participants are aged 14–19.
🗣️ Languages: Activate is English/German flexible. You don’t need to speak either language perfectly. We’ll adapt as much as possible so everyone can participate and follow along.
✂️ Materials:
Everything you need for the workshop will be provided, so you don’t need to bring any art or craft supplies. Just show up as you are.
This month’s session will be supervised by Jamila (she/they) and Moiz (he/him). 🌻
Activate is a collaboration between Villa Vida Café and hint.wien. It is a supportive safer space for LGBTQIA+ young people, including queer, trans, nonbinary, intersex, lesbian, gay, bi, pan, ace and questioning teens. You don’t need a particular label, and you don’t need to have everything figured out.
♿ Accessibility: Villa Vida Café has step-free access and an accessible toilet. If you have specific access needs or are unsure whether something will work for you, you can contact us beforehand.
Come make things, imagine things, meet people, or simply spend a Sunday afternoon in queer community. 💫
