Hi, I'm Anna 👋
I'm the person behind Rainbowtime — a community-driven platform dedicated to connecting LGBTQ+ individuals with inclusive events, spaces, and services.
👩💻 A Bit About Me
Initially from Upper Austria now working, living, loving and still studying in Vienna. By day, I work full-time at a civil engineering company driving innovation, and by night (and weekends), I'm (still) pursuing a PhD.
When I'm not trying to tell old white men how to do their job or read boring papers, I'm exploring Vienna with my dogchild, Maya or checking out spots with my friends.
🌈 How Rainbowtime Began
The idea for Rainbowtime started on a trip to Berlin with a close friend. We were ready for a night out at queer clubbing but found ourselves struggling to find events that resonated with us. (Yes I know, in Berlin?) This experience highlighted a gap—not just in Berlin, but in many cities—where queer-friendly events aren't always easily accessible or visible. I envisioned a solution: a centralized, community-powered calendar where everyone could discover and share LGBTQ+ happenings effortlessly. This is how Rainbowtime was born.
💖 Why Rainbowtime Matters to me
Creating Rainbowtime is my way of giving back to the community that has given me so much. I believe in the power of connection, visibility, and safer spaces. Whether you're seeking a queer-friendly yoga class, an inclusive salon, or the next big party, Rainbowtime aims to be your go-to ressource.
Thank you for stopping by—I'm truly grateful you're here. ❤️
Yours, Anna
P.S. To my amazing friends and my wonderful girlfriend: I couldn't have done this without you. Thank you for supporting me through everything—you mean the world to me. Tausend Bussis 💕
