What is Rainbowtime?
Through our website, we provide a central hub for discovering a wide array of engaging and empowering events that embrace the rich diversity of the queer experience. From captivating performances and thought-provoking discussions to colorful parades and uplifting social gatherings, Rainbowtime is here to guide you on your journey to finding moments of joy, celebration, connection and safer spaces.
Why Rainbowtime?
Rainbowtime was founded with the intention of creating a centralized platform for LGBTQ+ events, addressing the need for a dedicated space where individuals can easily discover and participate in queer events.
Who is Rainbowtime?
We are a passionate group of individuals driven by a shared mission to uplift and empower the LGBTQ+ community through the celebration of queer events.
Where is Rainbowtime?
Technically everywhere. You can submit events from all over the world. Currently we are only posting events from Austria on Social Media. You want to bring Rainbowtime to your city? Contact us ❤️
About events:
How do I submit events?
Create an account using your email address, and then use your login credentials to access the platform’s features. On the Dashboard you have the possibility to create, edit or delete your events.
When should I submit an event so it will be included in the weekly posts?
Submit it as soon as possible. We will include everything that we know of one week prior to the post. Usually we post Saturdays for events from monday to thurday. And wednesday for events on the weekend.
I submitted an event and it wasn't included in the weekly post.
We don’t give transphobic, homophobic, xenophobic or in general hateful events a plattform.
But sometimes we make mistakes. We are really sorry for having overlooked your event. Sometimes we make mistakes, but we will find a way to still give your event the plattform it deserves.
How do i make my event shine on the plattform?
Give as much information as possible. Our smart filters will detect accessability, inclusion and diversity. By giving as much information as possible, your event will be detected by multiple fiter points.
How to make your event shine:
What title should i use?
Keep it stupid simple. We will take the event title you submited for social media. So if you really want to inform our community use keywords such as: Exhibition, Performance, your name, etc.
Which image should i use?
The best is a landscape format in the following size: 1024×768. It is a 4×3 ratio to be correct.
How do i reach the biggest audience?
In short: Fill out all the questions asked in our Submission Form.
