Event Requirements
Creating a welcoming environment is everyone's responsibility. These behaviors aren't just good manners - they're essential for maintaining a community where everyone can participate fully and authentically. Your event must:
- Be explicitly LGBTQ+ friendly and inclusive
- Have clear anti-discrimination policies in place
- Provide venue information about accessibility
- Include complete event details (time, location, cost, age restrictions)
- Have safety measures for attendees
- Respect privacy and consent regarding photography and social media
No Tolerance Policy
We maintain a strict no-tolerance policy to protect our community. This means immediate action will be taken against any violations, without warnings or second chances. We believe that maintaining clear boundaries is essential for creating truly safe spaces.
We have zero tolerance for:
- Any form of discrimination based on gender identity, sexual orientation, race, disability, or other aspects of identity
- Unsafe or exclusionary venue practices
- Events that exploit or commercialize the LGBTQ+ community (pinkwashing)
- Events that don't have clear safety protocols
- Misgendering or deadnaming
- Hidden or surprise costs
- Misleading event descriptions
Safety Requirements
Safety is non-negotiable. Every event we promote must prioritize the wellbeing of LGBTQ+ attendees. These requirements reflect common situations where LGBTQ+ people might feel unsafe or unwelcome, and provide clear solutions to prevent such experiences.
Your event should include:
- Clear contact information for organizers
- Accessible entrance and facilities information
- Content warnings where appropriate
- Gender-neutral bathroom access
- A designated safety contact person during the event
- Clear protocols for handling harassment or discrimination
Event Submission Process
We've created a straightforward submission process that helps us verify that your event meets our requirements. Each step is designed to ensure we have all necessary information to promote your event responsibly.

- We’ll share your event on our social media platforms
Violations and enforcements
Our enforcement policy is designed to be clear and decisive. We take our role in the LGBTQ+ community seriously, and our response to violations reflects this commitment. This section outlines exactly what happens if guidelines are not followed.
If we discover violations of these guidelines:
- The event will be immediately removed from our platform
- The organizer will be banned from future submissions
- We will inform our community about the cancellation
- No warnings or second chances will be given
- We will report serious violations to appropriate authorities
