Hello to all dykes and our friends! we are DYKE*MARCH VIENNA and we are angry about fascist hate, and that it keeps growing. We are tired of neoliberal pinkwashed Pride events that exhaust us and leave us feeling like queerness has been sold. We want justice, even after Pride Month. That’s why we want to gather on the 5th July, take to the streets, take up public space and be loud for political queerness together! When we think of dykes we think of not only lesbians, but also of trans and non-binary people, femmes and butches, bi- pan- and asexual queers, everyone inbetween and still figuring it out - most of all, we think of a common political understanding. We want to march with everyone who understands queerness in an intersectional, anticapitalist and antiracist way.
