HUNDRED SHADES OF PINK: June 3–17, 2026 – Color PINK vs. ROSA: “ROSA” in German, “PINK” in English. • June 3–17, 2026 • DEADLINE for applications: Mai 03, 2026 • PR package included • Participation fees: € 250 for 2-3 works depending on sizes Please note: the number of participants is limited. During Pride Month 2026, we invite visual artists to explore pink/rose as a multifaceted projection – aesthetically, politically, culturally. Pink combines glamour, sexuality, irony, provocation, and criticism; its meaning ranges from fashion to politics to LGBTQ+ symbolism and the symbol of the breast cancer campaign. We are looking for works from the fields of painting, photography, drawing, sculpture, performance, and reading that deal with self and role models, pop culture, consumption, and identity formation. Trivialization or exaggeration, irony, provocation, and upheaval are welcome. The exhibition seeks ambivalence, humor, and references to identity, body, lust, desire, and politics—in Pride Month 2026. SUBMISSION GUIDELINES •Who can participate? All artists from the disciplines of painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, performance, installation, new media, etc. •Submission format: Please send photos of your works related to the theme (max. 3-4 works to choose from: JPEG/ max. 2 MB), a short concept (max. 300 words) about the relationship of your works to the theme, and a short CV to: office@herwigmariastark.com EXHIBITION DETAILS •Exhibition venue: Atelier-Galerie Herwig Maria Stark, Kohlgasse 51 top 2, 10 50 Vienna •Exhibition period: June 3 – 17, 2026, 2–7 p.m., closed Sunday and Monday, Opening reception: June 3 , 6:30–9:00 p.m.; Closing reception May 16, 2026: 4 p.m. -7 p.m., followed by dismantling. EVENTS: A discussion panel is planned as part of the exhibition, which will address the theme of the exhibition “HUNDRED SHADES OF PINK.” The selected artists are invited to actively participate in this event/these events.
