Difficult interactions can leave us tense and reactive - but mindful breathing helps us regulate and respond with care. In this interactive, science-baked workshop, we explore how stress affects the brain and body, and how breathwork and non-violent communication (NVC) can transform conflict into understanding. You’ll learn to: -Understand the basics of neuroscience of stress, tension, and negative emotions in communication. -Practice breathwork and meditation to regulate your nervous system in real time. -Apply non-violent communication principles to communicate with empathy. -Use movement and creative writing to release tension and express emotions. -Come as you are - this session welcomes everyone seeking more peaceful, authentic communication. At The Mindful BAse, we believe that mindfulness is not only a personal practice, but also a powerful way to strengthen relationships, communities, and our connection with our environment. Founded in Vienna in 2025, our mission is simple: to bring people together, foster well-being, and cultivate a community rooted in awareness, kindness, compassion and respect. Through our collaboration with Villa Vida, we are excited to present a series of science-based mindfulness workshops designed to encourage meaningful dialogue, nurture learning and reflection for supporting the local queer community. We create spaces where ancient practices meet modern insights, offering sessions that combine yoga, meditation, neuroscience, communication tools in a safe, inclusive and inspiring space.
