Description

A two-part experiential workshop series Registration Necessary. Pause. Sense. Feel. Transform. Anger, rage, and frustration are part of being human. Yet when left unchecked, they can hijack our nervous system, cloud communication, and strain our relationships. This two-part experiential workshop series offers a grounded, science based path to meeting anger with awareness; and transforming it into clarity, empathy, and compassion. Blending neuroscience, mindfulness practices, embodied movement, and mindful communication tools, we explore how anger affects the body and brain; and how it can become a powerful gateway to self understanding and deeper connection with others. Through guided meditation, reflective journaling, gentle movement, visualisation, pair and group exercises, you’ll learn how to rechannel stress, regulate your nervous system, and engage with conflict in a more conscious and compassionate way. Part 1: Rechanneling Stress and Understanding Our Needs We all experience anger and frustration, when we feel disrespected, unheard, or blocked from reaching our goals. These emotions can feel overwhelming and have a strong impact on our nervous system and well-being. How can we navigate these moments without being overtaken by them? In this first workshop, we focus on understanding anger from the inside out. We explore how emotional hijacking and chronic stress work in the brain and body, and how our internal narratives and unmet needs fuel reactive patterns. With curiosity and compassion, we begin to transform anger into self-awareness and self-care. You’ll explore: ● The neuroscience of anger, rage, stress response, and emotional hijacking ● How bodily sensations and internal narratives shape anger ● Identifying the feelings and unmet needs behind frustration ● How to rechannel anger through breath, visualisation, and gentle movement ● Using mindful self-talk and mantras to express needs ● Cultivating self-compassion as a foundation for clarity and regulation The Mindful BAse x Villa Vida Where science meets mindfulness – for awareness, connection, and community. At The Mindful BAse, we believe that mindfulness is not only a personal practice, but also a powerful way to strengthen relationships, communities, and our connection with our environment. Founded in Vienna in 2025, our mission is simple: to bring people together, foster well-being, and cultivate a community rooted in awareness, kindness, compassion and respect. Through our collaboration with Villa Vida, we are excited to present a series of science-based mindfulness workshops designed to encourage meaningful dialogue, nurture learning and reflection for supporting the local queer community. We create spaces where ancient practices meet modern insights, offering sessions that combine yoga, meditation, neuroscience, communication tools in a safe, inclusive and inspiring space. Each workshop invites you to slow down, connect, and learn practical ways to care for yourself and others – grounded in both science and lived experience. 🌈 All identities, bodies, and levels of experience are welcome. https://themindfulbase.com https://www.linkedin.com/company/the-mindful-base https://www.instagram.com/the_mindful_base Registration: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSckePQuhI-pydwGvKms1btW6JQHxnBvpX20HpkyrxGpniBW7A/viewform Facilitators: Adrián Klepe and Riccardo Trapannone from The Mindful BAse About Us Adrián Klepe Neuroscientist, certified yoga and breathwork instructor (currently teaching at Manas Yoga Studio), and NeuroMindfulness® Coach.
